Our accommodation
Making sure our residents are comfortable
Accommodation at St Ives Lodge is in a beautifully converted Victorian mansion house. The Home is divided into three separate units Orchid, Bellflower and Snowberry. Between the three units we can accommodate 18 older people with no other presenting needs and up to 17 older people presenting with dementia.
Every one of our 32 bedrooms is different in design but all are beautifully decorated and furnished.
The majority of our bedrooms have en-suite facilities available and there are also three separate bathrooms, each with hoists to aid residents. There is also a disabled shower area for those with particularly restricted movement. All of the bedrooms in Snowberry have their own private shower facilitiy with facilities to support the disabled.
Every room has a nurse call facility, TV point and access to the telephone network.
There are six separate lounge areas, two dining areas, an activities room and a quiet room for receiving visitors in private.
There are facilities to help those with restricted mobility to move around inside and outside of the home. Wheelchair access is available to both front and rear of the home and there are passenger lifts in the home.
The garden areas are beautifully maintained and there is a raised area for those residents who enjoy their own gardening. There is ample off street car parking for visitors.
